Hard hitting, not afraid to print controversial stories and opinions,
Lee McCoy’s blog really is the webmasters friend.  While many in the world of affiliate marketing tend to shy away from criticism of various affiliate / merchant sites, due to the potential for a back lash, McCoy is not one of them.  His post about a merchant taking orders for the Wii, then changing the terms was both hard hitting, informative and offered a great insight into the often murky world of “pre-orders”.

He covers most of the important subjects demanded by webmasters including, search engines, affiliate programs, merchant contact, potential fraud and much, much more. There are a vast array of different sectors to his site as well as a number of contributions from high profile affiliate experts.

While forthright about his praise for useful affiliate programs and merchants, he is not afraid to name and shame below standard parties - his “Affiliate Villain” offers a humorous way to highlight problem areas.

Original McCoy was trained in economics so obviously understands the way in which business works, although he also has detailed knowledge of SEO, Affiliate Marketing and Pay-Per-Click services.  His forth right but friendly manner shines through in his posts, which cover the good, the bad and the ugly of the affiliate marketing.
